A record number of vessels sailed through the Ukrainian sea corridor
On February 17 and 18, the Ukrainian sea corridor set records, with 16 vessels leaving the ports of Greater Odesa each.
Thus, on February 18, five bulk carriers departed from the berths of the Chornomorsk port: Mercury J, Amira Miro, Glorious Sea, ABK Legend, and the 229-meter Bull.
Pivdennyi port sent dry bulk carriers Eirini S, Aileen, ER Nazire, 229-meter giant Rose III and 292-meter Johanna to the Bosphorus.
Anka, Sundry, Amo Grande, Omar Trader, and the tanker Griffin T left the port of Odesa.
Several vessels are waiting to call at Ukrainian ports, including the giants – the 292-meter New Assimina will dock at Pivdennyi to load rolled metal products.
Since September 2023, more than 750 dry bulk carriers and tankers have sailed through the Ukrainian sea corridor, exporting more than 23 million tons of Ukrainian products to Europe, Asia, and Africa.
