3.6 million tons of agricultural products were shipped from Ukraine in the first half of December

In 18 days of December, 3.6 million tons of agricultural products and their processing left Ukraine, which is 800,000 tons more than in the first half of November. As in recent months, corn remains the leader, 1.6 million tons of it were shipped. This is almost twice as much as in 15 days in November. Compared to the first two weeks of November, the tonnage of wheat deliveries has not changed and amounts to 815,000 tons.

The third position in terms of shipments for the first half of December is traditionally occupied by sunflower oil with a shipment of 303 thousand tons. This is 4,000 tons less than in mid-November.

An upward trend has been observed in the supply of soybeans for the third month: 238,000 tons in the first half of this month against 199,000 tons in the 15 days of November. In mid-October, let’s recall, 118,000 tons of it went.

Shipments of sunflower seeds increased by 44,000 tons, and 230,000 tons crossed the border in 18 days of December.

Rapeseed supplies remain little variable: 194,000 tons in 18 days of December against 183,000 tons in 15 days of November.

Deliveries of meal decreased by 27,000 tons, 146,000 tons were shipped in the first half of December. Also, the volume of barley shipments in December decreased by 68.1 thousand tons, the volume of shipments is 97.9 thousand tons. On the other hand, deliveries of soybean oil are unchanged, 9.9 thousand tons of it went in 18 days.

In total, in 9.5 months since the beginning of the full-scale war, 35.8 million tons were shipped from Ukraine, of which 13.9 million tons of corn and 7.8 million tons of wheat were shipped.

The general picture of the volume of agricultural products that have already crossed the border of Ukraine in percentages for 18 days of December is as follows: 43.30% is occupied by corn, 22.71% by wheat, 8.44% by sunflower oil, soybeans by 6.63%, 6 .48% – rapeseed, 6.41% – sunflower seeds, 4.07% – meal, barley – 2.73%, soybean oil – 0.28%.

The export of agricultural products in terms of their transportation for the first half of December is as follows: 2.5 million tons were sent through ports (sea and river), 706.6 thousand tons by rail, 357.9 thousand tons by car, 25 thousand by ferry tons.
