27 new markets will be opened for Ukrainian agricultural products
The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection is working to open more than 27 new international markets for Ukrainian goods.
This was stated by Acting Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Olha Shevchenko during the presentation of the report on the agency’s activities for 2022.
“More and more markets are becoming available for our exporters, both livestock and crop products. To date, more than 27 markets are in the process of opening,” she said.
The service is currently working on opening markets: Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kuwait, Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Hong Kong, the European Union, Canada, Mexico, Oman, and China.
In 2022, 27 new markets were opened for Ukrainian goods, compared to 25 in 2021.
In January 2023, three new markets were opened for the export of Ukrainian livestock products: one in Canada and two in Serbia.
