Today, on April 13, 11 farmers protesting in the Polish Sejm began a hunger strike. They demand a meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

This is reported by RMF24.

Farmers from the Orka Agricultural Union began a protest in the Sejm on Thursday. According to one of the protesters, they came to Warsaw only to talk to Prime Minister Donald Tusk about the Green Deal.

Over the weekend, the farmers stayed in the building, but because Tusk did not come out to them, they changed the form of the strike and began a hunger strike on Monday. It is noted that the hunger strikers will only drink water.

On Thursday, May 9, the so-called “sit-in” of farmers began in the Sejm. Then Deputy Minister of Agriculture Stefan Krajowski told them that Poland could not close the border with Ukraine, as goods were not only imported but also exported.
