At least 100 vessels have left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi since the start of the temporary maritime corridor announced by Ukraine in August.

“Today, the 100th vessel sailed through the Black Sea Humanitarian Corridor, a lifeline for Ukraine that has helped deliver 3.7 million tons of food and goods around the world,” US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink wrote on Monday, November 13, on social media platform X.

We are talking about vessels that have already left the ports of Greater Odesa, as on November 9, the Ministry of Reconstruction informed about 91 vessels that had exported 3.3 million tons of agricultural products and mining and metals cargo at that time. At that time, the number of vessels entering the ports was 116.

The 100th vessel to sail through the temporary Black Sea corridor was most likely the capesize Ocean Leo with a deadweight of 177.7 thousand tons.
