10 vessels with agricultural products left Ukrainian seaports

On February 18-19, 2023, 10 vessels left the seaports of Odesa region as part of the “Grain Initiative”, delivering 361.2 thousand tons of agricultural products.

“Over the weekend, 10 ships with 361.2 thousand tons of agricultural products for Africa, Asia and Europe left the ports of Greater Odesa,” the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports on Facebook.

According to the report, the fifth vessel under the Grain From Ukraine program, the bulk carrier VALSAMITIS, left the port of Chornomorsk to deliver 25 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat to Kenya and 5 thousand tons to Ethiopia.

Also, the bulk carrier ROYAL STAR, chartered by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), left the port of Odesa. The vessel will deliver 25 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat to Afghanistan.

In total, since August 1, 2022, 757 vessels have left the ports of Odesa region, delivering 21.9 million tons of Ukrainian food to Asia, Europe and Africa.
